SARASOTA, Fla. – New College Athletics announce Judy Carlson as the schools first Women's Golf coach.
Judy Carlson joins NCF with over 15 years of professional instructing experience. Prior to joining NCF, Carlson coached boys' varsity golf at Saint Stephens Episcopal School in Bradenton for the past 5 years.
Judy Carlson has been a member of the PGA for twenty years as one of only 550 female members out of the 28,000-member club.
Prior to her time in Bradenton, Judy coached Intercollegiate men's and women's golf at Pace University in New York for ten years.
Coach Carlson also served as the director for instruction at Trump National Golf Club in New York for six years, where she did private instruction, coached PGA junior league, and conducted clinics. Carlson was also the Director of Instruction at Elmwood Country Club for 15 years.
Coach Carlson also boasts an impressive playing career, including a victory at the British Victory, a two-man best ball event in New York. Coach Carlson's victory is historic, as she is the only female to have ever won the event.
