Erin Bryce

Coach Bryce is entering her first season as the Head Coach for the New College Mighty Banyans Tennis Program.

Previously Coach Bryce served several programs including three seasons as the Assistant Coach at State College of Florida from 2019-2022, where she was awarded Regional Assistant Coach of the Year in 2021. Prior to her stint at SCF, Bryce was the Assistant Women’s Tennis Coach at James Madison University from 2014-2017. During her time with the JMU Dukes, Coach Bryce helped the team reach historic milestones with the programs first CAA conference final appearance, which was achieved in back to back seasons. In the 2016/2017 season the team achieved the best dual-match record in over 25 years, and was ranked in the top 65 in the nation among all Division I universities. The Dukes also obtained Academic All-Team national honors all three years of her stint. Prior to arriving at JMU, Bryce served one season as the Volunteer Assistant Coach at Mississippi State University from 2013-2014, and four seasons at Saint Leo University from 2010-2014. At Saint Leo University, Coach Bryce contributed to the team ascending from unranked to finishing top 5 in the nation. Coach Bryce attended the University of Tampa, where she competed on nationally ranked teams in both cross country and tennis.

Bryce holds an M.Ed. from James Madison University in College Student Personnel Administration and became a Board-Certified Behavioral Analyst in 2021. She is married to James Bryce, Sr. Manager of Competitive Pathways for the USTA, and together they have three young children. As a pair, Coach Bryce and her husband have won two Husband-Wife Clay Court National Doubles titles and were finalists at the USTA 10.0. Mixed Doubles Nationals in 2019.
