Originally from Owego, NY. Played baseball collegiately for Ithaca College from 1997-2001, lettered 3 years as a middle infielder and made the round of 16 in the NCAA D3 tournament the last 3 years.
Won a NYPHSAA Class B state championship in baseball his senior year.
Has been a resident of Lakewood Ranch, FL for the last two years, after being in business for himself for the previous 13 years in upstate NY. Taught Physical Education at every level the first 10 years of his professional life, as well as coached HS baseball and basketball for 13 yrs. Has 3 kids, ages 12, 10, and 4 - has been married for 18 years to his wife Thomasita. Holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Health and Physical Education, as well as a Master's of Science in Sport Pedagogy/Administrations, both from Ithaca College.
In his spare time he enjoys serving as a coach for softball, baseball, and basketball, tries to golf, and serves on several teams at his church, Legacy Church in Lakewood Ranch.
