Schuerman enters her first season as NCF's pitching coach after previous coaching stints at NCAA DI programs Presbyterian and  Florida International, as well as SCF where she served as head coach.
The Riverview, Florida native had a decorated playing career at the University of Florida, where she was named the 2002 SEC Co-Freshman of the Year, a 2002 Second-Team All-SEC honoree, and in both 2003 and 2004 was voted a team captain.
She finished her career as a Gator having posted a 3.01 ERA, 17-16 record, and with 144 career strikeouts in the circle, while at the plate she posted a .252 career batting average with 10 home runs and 46 RBI's.
