New College of Florida

Taylor Briggs was born and raised in Sarasota, Florida. 

Taylor grew up playing baseball and continued to play throughout high school and college. He attended and played baseball for Warner University, in Lake Wales, Florida. He graduated from Warner with a bachelor's degree in Exercise and Sport Leadership.  With remaining eligibility, he went back to Warner for post-graduate studies and obtained a master's degree in Management. 

After graduation, he took his passion for athletics to Sarasota Suncoast Academy, where he taught elementary physical education.  During his time at Suncoast Academy, Briggs got the opportunity to be the Athletic Director for the middle school, overseeing 11 sports.  

Taylor Briggs is stepping into the position of Business Manager for the Athletic Department.  He is excited to be a part of all the growth going on at New College.
