The second quarter of action was a change of pace. The New College offense sputtered, only converting on 27.3% of their shots from the field, and tallying two assists. The Banyan defense continued their dominance, forcing Beacon to shoot 1-10 from the field and turn the ball over three times.

The Banyans impressive first quarter allowed them to jump out to a 38-10 at the half.

The New College offense ramped back up to begin the second half. The Mighty Banyans scored 16 points in the third quarter and nabbed 12 rebounds to regain control on the glass. Their defense was again impressive, allowing nine Blazers points in the quarter.

The Banyans' defense held strong, holding the Blazers to 23.5% shooting from the field.

The New College offense would hold on till the buzzer, propelling the Banyans to a big 67-29 win.
