TEMPLE TERRACE, Fla. – The Mighty Banyan's women's soccer team picked up a dominant victory in a 7-goal performance at Florida College.
The Mighty Banyans followed up a heartbreaking loss to Florida Memorial with a bounce-back win over Florida College. The Banyans picked up their second win of the season over Florida College, finishing up their season series with a 13-1 goal differential.
New College opened the scoring in the game's first minute when
Katrina Wolfe scored on a breakaway in front of goal.
The Banyan's offense continued to find the back of the net. Junior forward Sophia Hernandez Cruz added two more goals to her season tally in the first half, giving New College a commanding 3-0 lead heading into the break.
The Banyan's offensive excellence didn't stop in the second half. After conceding their first goal of the game in the 63
rd minute, New College scored four more goals in the second half.
Sophomore forward
Nicola Taylor got the second-half scoring started, finding the back of the net for her first goal of the season.

Rylee O'Shea added the final two goals of the match in the 64

th minute.
