MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – New College Softball fall in doubleheader at St. Thomas.
The Mighty Banyans struggled to get going offensively in game one. The Banyans recorded just 3 this in game one. Center-fielder
Ke'Asia Waters was responsible for two of the three Banyan hits, going 2 for 3 from the plate. Madi Dutton recorded the only other hit in game one, going 1 for 2 for the game.
The New College pitching staff struggled to keep up with the high-powered Bobcat offense.
Jayleigh Totten pitched the entirety of game one, giving up 11 hits and striking out 3 batters.
Game two was more of the same.
Ella Kraszewski recorded the only hit for New College in game two. Madi Dutton pitched all of game two, going 6 innings with 9 hits and an impressive 6 strikeouts.
The Banyans are back in action on Wed. April 10 in Miami Gardens against Florida Memorial University.
