BRADENTON, Fla. - NCF Volleyball improved to 10-2 overall and 5-2 in Sun Conference play Wednesday with a thrilling 3-2 victory over Webber.
NCF dropped the first set 25-16 and fell behind in the second set 25-24 before rallying to win 29-27 to draw even.
The Mighty Banyans won the third set 25-17 but dropped the fourth 25-19, setting up a decisive fifth set.
NCF would control the fifth set, going up 4-1, and from there outscored Webber 11-7 to win the set 15-8.
Jayleen Santiago led NCF with a season-high 30 kills, while
Soraya Nacero (16) and
Wiktoria Telecka (14) each finished with double-digit kills.
Rafaela Domingos posted a team-high 55 assists while also recording 20 digs.
Maria Luiza Barreis led NCF with 35 digs.
NCF will be back in action Saturday at Keiser. First serve is set for 2 p.m. EST.
