NCF Volleyball earned its second sweep of non-conference foe Florida College of the season Monday as it earned a 3-0 victory in Temple Terrace.
The Mighty Banyans won the first set 25-18 and, after falling behind in the second set 7-2, used a 23-14 run to win the set 25-21 and take a commanding 2-0 lead.
NCF fell behind Florida College 18-15 in the third set, but once again rallied, this time using a 10-7 run to win the set 25-23 and finish off the sweep on the Falcons' Senior Night.
Jayleen Santiago led NCF with 13 kills.
Soraya Nacero also added double-digit kills with 11, while freshman
Cecilia Soragna logged a season-high nine kills with two coming off blocks.
Rafaela Domingos led NCF in assists with 34, while
Maria Luiza Barreis led the Mighty Banyans' defensive efforts with 28 digs.
The Mighty Banyans are now 14-4 overall on the season with the win and will return home to SCF-Bradenton Wednesday to host Sun Conference foe Warner for Senior night.
