NCF Women's Soccer's 2025 season came to an end Wednesday as it fell 1-0 to Ave Maria at the NCF Bayfront, allowing the Gyreenes  to pass the Mighty Banyans in the standings and steal the sixth and final bid in the Sun Conference Tournament.

Daria Charron scored the game's lone goal at the 31:04 mark in the first half, scoring a header via an assist from Catherine Dalton.

Freshman goaltender Avaya Wright finished an outstanding campaign with eight saves for NCF while Naomi Woerner (2), Yasmim Fialho Melo (1), Tereza Cerna (1) and Summer Steele (1) all fired off shots on goal that were saved by Ave's Emma Schweitzer.

NCF finishes its third season in program history and first under head coach Serge Lipovetsky, 2-13-1 overall and 2-5-1 in Sun Conference play.
