NCF Volleyball To Take On Pensacola Christian And Florida College Saturday In Temple Terrace

NCF Volleyball (15-4, 9-4) will play a pair of matches in its final weekend of regular season action Saturday as it will take on both Pensacola Christian (19-5, 6-0) and Florida College (16-18, 4-2) in Temple Terrace, as part of a non-conference tri-meet.

The Mighty Banyans will take on Pensacola Christian for the first time this season at 3 p.m. EST, while it will face Florida College for the third time and second time this week at 5 p.m., as NCF swept the Falcons 3-0 Monday in Temple Terrace and also swept FC at home on Sept. 6.

NCF defeated Warner 3-1 on Senior Night Wednesday.
Wiktoria Telecka posted a season-high 22 kills for NCF, while Soraya Nacero (16) and Jayleen Santiago (15) against Warner. Rafaela Domingos matched a season-high with 55 assists on her Senior Night, while fellow senior Maria Luiza Barreis posted a season-high 41 digs.
In its 3-0 sweep of Florida College Monday, Santiago led NCF with 13 kills. Nacero also added double-digit kills with 11, while freshman Cecilia Soragna logged a season-high nine kills with two coming off blocks. Rafaela Domingos led NCF in assists with 34, while Luiza Barreis led the Mighty Banyans' defensive efforts with 28 digs.
NCF and Pensacola Christian have not yet played in program history. Florida College will become the first and only common opponent between the two teams this season.
