BRADENTON, Fla. - NCF Men's Basketball (2-3, 0-2) will begin a two-game homestand Tuesday when it welcomes Beacon College (2-5) to SCF-Bradenton for a 7 p.m. non-conference tilt.
NCF is 2-1 at home so far this season.

- NCF dropped a pair of Sun Conference games last week, losing at home last Wednesday to No. 8 Ave Maria 85-69 and on the road Saturday 92-79 to RV Florida Memorial.
- In its loss to Florida Memorial Saturday, the Mighty Banyans shot an outstanding 12-for-19 (63.1%) from three-point range.
- Point guard Shawn Lefresne led the Mighty Banyans with 24 points against the Lions. He was joined in double figures by Diego Eslava (19), Ben Walker (16), and Giovanni Toscanini (12). Lefresne also led NCF in assists (6) and rebounds (4).
- Through five games, 2024-2025, Eslava, the Sun Conference Freshman of the Year, is shooting an impressive 20-for-45 (44.4%) from three.
- Beacon is 2-5 so far on the year with losses to Urbe, Abraham Baldwin, Fort Lauderdale, Atlantis and Trinity Baptist and wins over Southeast Christian and Fort Lauderdale.
