After its Aug. 22 regular season opener was rained out at Florida College, NCF Women's Soccer will kick off its first campaign under new head coach Serge Lipovetsky, Saturday at 10 a.m. EST against Thomas University (1-1) on the road in Thomasville, Georgia.
The matchup is part of a two-game trip to the Peach State as NCF will battle Mobile in Thomasville, Monday.

- NCF's Aug. 22 match at Florida College was canceled due to weather. No makeup date has been formally announced.
- NCF enters its first season under head coach Serge Lipovetsky. Lipovetsky, who has over two decades of elite coaching experience at the youth, collegiate, and national levels, most recently served as the top assistant coach for the University of North Florida Women's Soccer Program (2021–2024) at the NCAA DI level.Â
- Lipovetsky will be assisted by returning assistant coach Ashley Dakis, as well as new assistant coach Ray Leone and graduate assistant Lais Martins.
- Many key contributors from the Mighty Banyans 4-7-1, 2024 campaign return in 2025 including senior Sofia Hernandez Cruz who scored a team-high eight goals and logged a team-leading eight assists, sophomore Consuelo Di Maria who scored five goals with two assists and senior Naomi Woerner who scored one goal last season and was highlighted by the Sun Conference as NCF's player to watch this season.
- Last season, NCF defeated Florida College in both of its two meetings. It beat the Falcons 6-0 on Sept. 24 and 7-1 on Oct. 1. Both games were played in Temple Terrace.
- Thomas, coached by Julie Orlowski, is 1-1 on the season so far, as it defeated Warner 4-1 on the road on Aug. 21 and then fell to Southeastern 7-0 on the road on Aug. 23.
- Junior forward Pearl  Mortimer has scored two goals so far this season for the Night Hawks.Â
