Box Score Sarasota, Fla. - New College Women's Soccer suffered a heartbreaking loss on its home NCF Bayfront Field Wednesday as Webber International put in a game-winning goal with just over a minute left to play to earn a 2-1 victory over the Mighty Banyans.

Webber opened the scoring at the 22:35 mark as Samantha Chitu scored for the Warriors to make it 1-0, which would be the score taken into halftime.

At the 53:38 mark, NCF put in the equalizer as Tereza Cerna scored the first Mighty Banyans score of the season to make it 1-1. 

The game would remain tied until the 88:31 mark when Melissa Del Valle delivered the game-winner for the Warriors, who left Sarasota 2-1 victors.

The contest will not count toward either team's Sun Conference record. NCF will visit Webber Oct. 4 in what will be a conference competition. 

New College will be back in action Sunday when it takes on Southeastern at the NCF Bayfront Field. Kickoff is slated for 11 a.m. EST.
