Bradenton, Fla. - NCF Volleyball made a statement Wednesday, sweeping conference foe Southeastern, who entered play 9-1 on the season, 3-0 to improve to 6-1 on the season and 1-1 in Sun Conference play.
NCF won the first set 25-19 and the second set 25-18 to seize control and jumped in front 24-21 in the third set before Southeastern rallied to tie the score at 24.

Soraya Nacero recorded back-to-back kills to complete the sweep.
Defending Sun Conference Attacker of the Week
Wiktoria Telecka led NCF with 17 kills and also had a team-high nine service aces, while defending Sun Conference and NAIA setter of the week,
Rafaela Domingos, led the team with 31 assists.
Jayleen Santiago led the Mighty Banyans with 15 digs to lead NCF's defensive efforts while Abigial Willis posted a team-high four blocks.
NCF will be back in action Saturday when it travels to Miami to take on Sun Conference foe Southeastern in a 2:00 p.m. EST showdown.Â
