SARASOTA, Fla. - NCF Women's Soccer (1-7-0, 1-0-1) will be back in action at the NCF Bayfront Wednesday when it hosts No. 1-ranked Keiser in a Sun Conference showdown.
Keiser will be making its second trip of the year to NCF as the Seahawks beat the Mighty Banyans 4-0 in a Sept. 19 contest.

- NCF got its first win of the season Saturday as it defeated Warner 2-0 in its Sun Conference opener. Naomi Woerner and Summer Steele each scored their first goals of the season in the win.
- Goaltender Maria Schatzl posted a clean sheet with two saves in the win over Warner. On the year she has saved 19-of-25 (76.0%) of shots faced in two starts and
- Consuelo di Maria and Tereza Cerna have also scored goals for NCF so far this season.
- NCF and Keiser last met on Sept. 19 at the NCF Bayfront where the No. 1 ranked Seahawks earned a 4-0 victory behind goals from Lauren Riley, Ruby Vernon, Nynka Rucker and Valeria Schiavo. Schatzl made nine saves in the contest for the Mighty Banyans.
- Since its last visit to NCF, Keiser has added three more victories, beating No. 9 ranked SCAD Savannah 3-0 to avenge its loss in last year's NAIA National Title Game, defeating Southeastern 4-1 and beating St. Thomas 3-2 in its Sun Conference Opener.
- The Seahawks are now 9-1 overall in Sun Conference play on the season, with Maria Vilhena and Blanca Bächi tied with a team-leading seven goals each, and goaltender Mio Tanaka recording 18 saves and allowing just five goals so far.
