NCF Men's Soccer put together another strong showing in St. Petersburg Tuesday as it finished in a 2-2 draw against NCAA DII foe Eckerd College.
The red-hot
Ducamel Jeannestin opened the scoring at the 12:11 mark as he scored his fourth goal of the season off an assist from freshman
Cameron Johnson.
Eckerd would tie the game right before the half as Marcio Costa cashed in on a penalty kick to even the game at 1-1 and score the first goal against the Mighty Banyans so far this season.
A goal from Eckrd's Daniel Freire at the 47:15 mark gave the Tritions the lead early in the second half, but NCF quickly answered back as Jeannestin struck again, recording his second straight multi-goal game as he scored via assist from goaltender
Mathis Leveque and Johnson at the 59:47 mark, which served as the equalizer and final score of the match.
The Mighty Banyans will be back in action Thursday when they welcome Florida National to the NCF Bayfront at 11 a.m. EST.
