Following its inaugural match and 2-0 victory over Keiser, NCF ESports freshman Jovan Michelsen was named the Sun Conference Super Smash Brothers Ultimate Player of the Week.

With the match on the line, Michelsen stood as New College's final player against three Keiser competitors. Despite facing seven remaining stocks, Jovan eliminated Keiser's first player while sacrificing two of his own, then delivered a clutch performance by three-stocking each of the final two opponents to secure the victory.

NCF's next Super Smash Brothers Ultimate match is set for Wednesday against St. Thomas at 7 p.m. EST.
