BRADENTON, Fla. - NCF Men's Basketball (5-8, 0-3) will play its first home game of the new calendar year Wednesday when it welcomes Sun Conference foe Coastal Georgia (6-9, 1-3) to SCF-Bradenton for a 5 p.m. EST tilt.
The Mighty Banyans are seeking its first conference victory of the season while also looking to snap a three-game losing skid.

- NCF fell 87-73 at No. 11 Keiser Saturday in its first game of the new calendar year, dropping the Mighty Banyans to 5-8 overall, 0-3 in Sun Conference play and swelling its losing skid to three.
- Point guard Shawn Lefresne led NCF with 21 points and six assists while finishing tied with Colby Chapman and Carlin Gelin with a team-leading two steals in the loss at Keiser.
- Lefresne was joined in double figures by Alex Excellent (15) and Ben Walker (12) in West Palm Beach.
- Coastal Georgia makes the trip to Bradenton 6-9 overall on the season and 1-3 in Sun Conference play. The Mariners are led in scoring by Derrick Mannie Harris at 13.9 points per game.
