BRADENTON, Fla. - A historic Senior Day performance from NCF point guard
Shawn Lefresne was not enough for the Mighty Banyans Saturday as it fell 102-82 at home to St. Thomas in its 2025-26 season finale.
Lefresne set a school record single-game record with 47 points in the contest, shooting 19-for-30 from the field and 7-for-11 from the free throw line, on a day he was honored along with
Ben Walker and
Caden Dewey in a pregame ceremony.
The senior point guard also pulled down a team-high seven rebounds in the contest while finishing tied with
Alex Excellent with a team-leading two assists.
Diego Eslava joined Lefresne in double figures with 13 points.
With the loss, NCF finishes the season 7-20 overall and 2-14 in Sun Conference play.
