RV New College of Florida Beach Volleyball continued its perfect start to the 2026 season on Thursday, earning two Sun Conference victories at Webber International.
The Mighty Banyans defeated Truett McConnell 5-0 before closing the day with another 5-0 sweep over Spartanburg Methodist.
With the pair of conference wins, New College improves to 4-0 overall on the season and in conference play.

In the opener against Truett McConnell, the Banyans controlled every court. At No. 1,
Cassidy Casey and
Oliva Fenstermaker secured a 21-16, 21-18 victory.
Morgan McGuire and
Kayla Gentry battled at No. 2, dropping the opening set before rallying for a 14-21, 21-16, 15-11 three-set win.
Jayleen Santiago and
Jayden Ponsford were dominant at No. 3, earning a 21-13, 21-11 sweep.
Maria Luiza Barreis and
Camilla Vaerini added a 21-17, 21-19 victory at No. 4, while
Ashlyn Caddell and
Alba Romanos Gracia closed out the dual at No. 5 with a 21-16, 21-19 straight-set win to complete the 5-0 result.

New College carried that momentum into its second match of the day against Spartanburg Methodist. Once again, the Banyans earned straight-set wins across the lineup.
Casey and Fenstermaker led the way at No. 1 with a 21-14, 21-13 win. McGuire and Gentry followed at No. 2 with a decisive 21-14, 21-17 victory. Santiago and Ponsford remained unbeaten on the day at No. 3, earning a 21-15, 21-15 sweep.
At No. 4, Barreis and Vaerini delivered a dominant 21-9, 21-9 performance, and Caddell and Romanos Gracia capped the sweep at No. 5 with a 21-10, 21-13 victory.
