BRADENTON, Fla. - NCF Women's Basketball fell 75-44 at home to Florida Memorial Wednesday as the Lions finished off a regular season sweep of the Mighty Banyans.
The Mighty Banyans showed resolve in the fourth quarter, outscoring FMU 20-14 and hitting four three-pointers, but it was not enough to complete the comeback.
Ty'Nazia Smith led NCF with seven points while finishing tied with
CiCi Moore with a team-leading four rebounds.
Camila Zbynski dished a team-high four assists,
Sania Thomas picked up a team-leading three steals while Moore blocked a team-high two shots.
NCF is now 7-13 overall and 0-11 in Sun Conference play and will return to action Saturday at Coastal Georgia with tip slated for 2 p.m. EST.
