SARASOTA, Fla. - NCF Women's Lacrosse opened the 2026 season in dominant fashion as it defeated Columbia College 24-2 at the NCF Bayfront.

The Mighty Banyans jumped out to a quick 8-0 lead after one period and never looked back, adding three in the second, six in the third and four in the fourth.

Baylie Dow scored eight goals in the victory, Bella Bradshaw scored five, Makayla Hardware scored four, while Airiana Jerz, Sara-Lee Brown, Ashley Palmer, Hannah Picott, Tierra Tyron, Amanda Pickens and Abbigail Hardaker each scored one.

In net, Pickens made one save in the victory.

NCF will be back in action next Saturday when it hosts Reinhardt at 1 p.m. EST.
