No. 6 NCF Beach Volleyball continued its perfect start to the season by sweeping through Sun Conference Central Pod play in Mobile, Alabama, over the weekend, defeating RV Loyola New Orleans 3-2 Friday and defeating both William Carey and RV Mobile 4-1 Saturday.
The Mighty Banyans are now 7-0 overall and in Sun Conference play this season.
Match 1
At the No. 1 position,
Oliva Fenstermaker and
Cassidy Casey delivered a dominant 21-9, 21-11 victory over Madeline Corrall and Kala Emanuelli.
Kayla Gentry and
Jayden Ponsford added another point at No. 3 with a 21-19, 21-17 win against Isis Harink and Juliet Petruzelli.
At No. 5,
Maria Luiza Barreis and
Camilla Vaerini battled through a tight opening set before earning a 28-26, 21-12 victory over Zoe Barnes and Gabrielle Casino to clinch the dual. Loyola New Orleans earned points at No. 2 and No. 4.

Fenstermaker and Casey continued their strong play at the top of the lineup Saturday morning with a 21-18, 21-15 win over Sammie Wilson and Barbara Guedes.
Morgan McGuire and
Jayleen Santiago earned another point at No. 2 with a 21-11, 21-14 victory against Grace Engels and Alejandra Villareal.
Gentry and Ponsford secured the third point for the Banyans at No. 3 with a 21-14, 21-10 win over Evelyn Araujo and Jahaziel Alualu-Talamoa. Barreis and
Camilla Vaerini added the fourth point at No. 4, defeating Charlotte Laborde and Taylor Parker 21-12, 21-11.
William Carey picked up its lone point at No. 5, where Maycee Gross and Zoie Mitchell defeated
Sibelle Dias and
Alba Romanos Gracia in straight sets.
Match 3
The Banyans closed the weekend with a 4-1 victory over Mobile.
Fenstermaker and Casey remained unbeaten on the trip, defeating Emma Hampton and Gabby Sheffield 21-18, 21-12 at the No. 1 position. Gentry and Ponsford added another point at No. 3 with a 21-12, 21-12 win over Peyton Frazer and Kaylin Johnson.
Barreis and Vaerini earned a three-set victory at No. 4, defeating Rylee Warren and Emma McPherson 21-18, 18-21, 15-11.
The fourth point came at No. 5, where
Sibelle Dias and
Alba Romanos Gracia secured a 14-21, 21-14, 15-13 win over Bella DiDonna and Sophie Dorris. Mobile picked up its lone point at No. 2.
