BRADENTON, Fla. - NCF Women's Tennis knocked off NCAA DIII foe SUNY New Paltz at Inspiration Academy 5-2 on Tuesday to improve to 5-8 on the season.
The Mighty Banyans secured the doubles point as
Itza Rogel and
Emilia Schulte teamed up for a 6-1 win in the No. 1 spot and
Camila Cardona-Carballosa and
Madeleine Chellas won 6-2 in the No. 2 spot.
NCF secured the victory by going 4-2 in doubles play as Chellas at No. 1, Cardona-Carballosa at No. 2, Schulte at No. 3 and Rogel at No. 4 all earned straight set victories.
The Mighty Banyans will return to action Friday, April 10, when it hosts conference foe, SCAD Savannah.
