NCF Men's And Women's Tennis Fall At NCAA DII Rollins College

No. 25 NCF Men's Tennis and NCF Women's Tennis both fell to NCAA DII foe Rollins College on the road Thursday in both teams regular season finales.

The men fell 4-0 to finish the regular season 8-7, while the women lost 7-0 to finish the regular season 5-11.
Men's Recap

In doubles, Timothy Phung and Carlos Quinones were defeated 6-3 at No. 2, while Paul Balon and Matteo Barcia fell 6-0 at No. 3 as Rollins secured the point.
In singles, Rollins secured the team victory with wins at No. 4, No. 6, and No. 1.

Pedro Lemos fell 6-1, 6-0 at No. 4, while Guy Dalzell was defeated 6-1, 6-3 at No. 6. Carlos Quinones dropped a 6-2, 6-3 decision at No. 1.

Several matches went unfinished. Hugo Fidler trailed at No. 2, while Konstantin Kukaras held a one-set lead at No. 3. Barcia was in progress at No. 5 when play concluded.
Women's Recap

In doubles, Camila Cardona-Carballosa and Madeleine Chellas picked up a 6-3 win at No. 2. Itza Rogel and Emilia Schulte were defeated 6-2 at No. 1, while Alexandra Sibrikova and Vanesa Streitova fell 6-1 at No. 3 as Rollins secured the doubles point.

In singles, New College was unable to secure a point. Madeleine Chellas dropped her match 6-1, 6-1 at No. 1, while Camila Cardona-Carballosa fell 6-0, 6-1 at No. 2. Emilia Schulte battled to three sets at No. 3 before falling 6-3, 2-6, 10-6.

Itza Rogel was edged 7-5, 6-1 at No. 4. Alexandra Sibrikova and Gia Rizzo were both defeated in straight  sets at No. 5 and No. 6.
Up Next: Both teams will begin Sun Conference Tournament play April 24 at Coastal Georgia.
