Following a perfect 3-0 opening weekend of the 2026 season at the Mighty Banyan VolleyPalooza, New College of Florida volleyball returns to action Friday and Saturday as the Mighty Banyans travel to Marietta, Georgia, for the La Tribu Invitational hosted by Life University.
NCF (3-0, 0-0) will play four matches over two days, beginning Friday at 1 p.m. against William Carey in a rematch of last Saturday's Mighty Banyan VolleyPalooza matchup, which saw the Mighty Banyans earn a 3-1 victory.
The Mighty Banyans will close out Friday against Reinhardt at 5 p.m. before returning to the court Saturday to face Point at 1 p.m. and Johnson (Tenn.) at 5 p.m. to wrap up the weekend.

NCF enters its second weekend of action following a perfect 3-0 showing at the Mighty Banyan VolleyPalooza. The Mighty Banyans earned wins over Bethel, No. 24 Mobile and William Carey, winning nine of 12 sets overall and six of their final seven.
EARLY RETURNS
Through the opening weekend, NCF sits atop The Sun Conference in points per set (17.17), blocks per set (2.00) and service aces per set (3.42), while also holding opponents to a conference-low .093 hitting percentage. The Mighty Banyans rank second in the conference with a .226 hitting percentage and 15.33 digs per set.
NCF recorded 41 service aces over its first 12 sets, 25 more than its opponents, while holding the opposition to just 8.50 kills per set. The Mighty Banyans have also totaled 24 blocks and 184 digs through their first three matches.
ATTACK MODE
Senior Wiktoria Telecka has powered the NCF attack through the opening weekend, leading the Mighty Banyans with 54 kills while hitting .317 and averaging 4.50 kills per set. Fellow senior Soraya Nacero has added 39 kills at 3.25 per set, giving the duo 93 of NCF's 141 kills through three matches. Telecka and Nacero have also combined for 23 of the Mighty Banyans' 41 service aces.
DIGGING IN
Sophomore Khalia Horta leads the Mighty Banyans defensively with 53 digs through three matches, averaging 4.42 per set, while Telecka and Nacero have added 32 and 31, respectively. At the net, freshman Katelyn Pulver leads NCF with 10 total blocks, including five solo blocks, while freshman Madison Goin has recorded seven total blocks and a team-high six solo. As a team, NCF is averaging a Sun Conference-best 2.00 blocks per set.
MAKING AN EARLY IMPACT
Sophomore setter Addison Phillippe has made an immediate impact in her first season with the Mighty Banyans, starting all three matches and directing an NCF offense that hit .226 during its undefeated opening weekend. Phillippe has dished out 127 assists, averaging 10.58 per set, while also contributing 25 digs, four service aces and two blocks.
