SARASOTA, Fla. - New College of Florida volleyball standouts Wiktoria Telecka and Addison Phillippe were recognized by The Sun Conference on Monday following their performances at the La Tribu Invitational.
Telecka was named Sun Conference Attacker of the Week, while Phillippe earned Setter of the Week honors. The duo helped lead the Mighty Banyans to four victories over two days as NCF improved to 7-0, the best start in program history.
Telecka delivered another dominant weekend for the Mighty Banyans, recording 73 kills and 83.5 points across 16 sets. The senior captain averaged 4.56 kills per set while hitting .270 and adding eight service aces.
The Warsaw, Poland, native reached double-digit kills in all four matches, highlighted by 23 kills against Reinhardt and 21 against Johnson. Telecka hit .381 in the victory over Johnson and .355 during NCF's sweep of Point.
Through seven matches this season, Telecka ranks fourth in the NAIA with 127 kills and fourth nationally with 4.54 kills per set.
This marks the fourth Sun Conference Attacker of the Week honor of Telecka's New College career after she earned the award three times last season. She was also named Second Team All-Sun Conference in 2025.
Phillippe continued her outstanding start to her sophomore season by directing the NCF offense throughout the tournament. She finished the weekend with 176 assists, averaging 11 assists per set across the four victories.
The Alexandria, Indiana, native recorded 51 assists against Reinhardt, 46 against William Carey, 43 against Johnson and 36 in the sweep of Point. Phillippe also contributed nine service aces, 23 digs and eight total blocks.
Through seven matches, Phillippe ranks second in the NAIA with 10.82 assists per set.
NCF returns to action Friday and Saturday at the Florida College Labor Day Tournament in Temple Terrace.
