SARASOTA, Fla. - New College of Florida Men's Soccer opens Sun Conference play Saturday as the Mighty Banyans host Warner University (2-3-4, 0-0) at 1 p.m. at NCF Bayfront Field.

NCF (2-3-2, 0-0) enters conference play following an 11-0 victory over South Florida Bible College on Tuesday. Eight Mighty Banyans scored as NCF recorded its first shutout of the season and matched the second-highest single-match goal total in program history.

Through seven matches, NCF leads The Sun Conference with 24 goals, a 3.43 scoring average and a plus-1.29 average scoring margin. The Mighty Banyans have attempted 110 shots and placed 54 on goal.

JOHNSON AMONG SUN'S BEST: Cameron Johnson ranks second in The Sun Conference with six goals and 15 points. The sophomore also has three assists while placing 12 of his 19 shots on goal.

JEANNESTIN IN THE TOP THREE: Ducamel Jeannestin ranks third in the conference with 10 points after recording four goals and two assists through six appearances. His four goals are tied for fifth in The Sun Conference.

HOSPEDALES BREAKS THROUGH: Hospedales scored the first two goals of his collegiate career Tuesday and added an assist. He has recorded five points through four appearances, ranking eighth in the conference in points per match.

SHARING THE LOAD: Johnson, Nelson, Jose Araya and Juan Gomez-Cuetara each recorded two assists against South Florida Bible College. Johnson and Nelson enter Saturday tied for the team lead with three assists this season.

KNOW THE OPPONENT: Warner has scored 15 goals through nine matches while attempting 109 shots. Jackson Davenport leads The Sun Conference with nine goals and 20 points while ranking second with 17 shots on goal. Xavier Lozada has added four goals, while Christopher Zeppieri has recorded three assists.
