Coach Drew Lutz joins the Mighty Banyans staff after completing a successful playing career at Bethel University in Indiana. While at Bethel, Lutz was named team captain and led the Pilots to a 20 win season and a trip to the NAIA National Tournament. In 2023-24, he led the nation in total points scored (736), points per game (24.5), and free throws made (182), while also landing on the NAIA All-American team. Lutz will play a significant role in player development and recruiting.
Head Coach Andrew Wingreen says, "Drew is a phenomenal person and fits our culture perfectly! He obviously has the credibility as a college player and will do a fantastic job showing our players how to grow and improve their skills on the floor. Not only will he impact our program on the court, but he is a leader of men off the court as well. He is always looking for opportunities to pour into others and make them better men. I'm excited to add Coach Lutz to our staff and fully expect him to make a significant impact right away!"
