2025-26 JUNIOR -  Appeared in 17 games starting 3, averaging 3.3 points and 2.4 rebounds per game while shooting an efficient 53.3% from the field. He added a spark in the paint with a team-high 1.8 blocks per game, totaling nine blocks on the season, while also contributing five assists and three steals. His top performance came against Ave Maria on Jan. 28, when he scored a season-high 11 points on 5-of-6 shooting, including his lone three-pointer of the year. He also posted a season-high eight rebounds against Trinity College of Jacksonville on Dec. 2.

2024-25 - SOPHOMORE - Appeared in 17 games, averaging 1.2 points and 0.9 rebounds per game. He shot 30.8% from the field and 44.4% from the free-throw line while continuing to provide depth and energy in the Banyans’ frontcourt. Close’s steady presence added valuable size and experience to the rotation throughout the season.

2023-24 FRESHMAN - Had an important role in the frontcourt ... played in 23 of 24 games, with 6 starts ... averaged 4.1 points, and 2.7 rebounds per game ... career high 13 points on 5-6 shooting at Florida College ... 11 points and 3 rebounds at Bob Jones ... career high 12 rebounds vs Trinity College.
