D'uane Howard also joins New College from Horizon High School, where he served as the programs Inaugural Head Coach.
Howard finished his career at Horizon with a 53% winning percentage, taking his program to the Regional Playoffs in 4A and 6A.
Howard coached the program's first ever college signee in 2024, and oversaw academic initiatives that led to a team GPA of 3.5 in 2022 and 2023.
Howard was the head coach of J-Sizzle AAU, where he coached on the Adidas Gold Circuit and helped 4 athletes receive their first collegiate scholarships.
Howard competed collegiately at Johnson University Florida, where he was a team captain and All-Conference selection in 2017.
