Coach Ryann Mushkin is originally from New Canaan, CT where she spent most of her years with her four siblings: Riley, Robert, Reagan, and Reese. She spent two years at Kent Schools where she was a two-time Western New England Prep School All-Star and Offensive Player of the Year. She then moved to IMG Academy her junior year of high school and graduated in 2018. She played with the U.S. Soccer Development Academy team where they won 19 games in 2017-18 and made the Development Academy playoffs as the first wild card.
After graduating, Coach Ryann chose to attend Mississippi State University (DI) in 2019 and transferred to the University of Tennessee at Martin (DI) in 2020, where she graduated in December of 2022. With some injuries impacting her playing career, Coach Ryann ended her senior season playing a total of 1,484 minutes out of 18 games total.Â
Coach Ryann has a Bachelor of Arts, Mass Media and Strategic Communications with a Minor in Psychology.Â
Coach Mushkin has coached as a youth private and small group trainer and for IMG Academy Summer camps. She joins New College of Florida as the Women’s Soccer Assistant Coach.Â
Coach Mushkin is excited to be a part of a new program and build a foundation for the years to come. She is looking forward to helping young women embark on their college journey, bringing her unique experience as a former Division I athlete.Â
She resides in Lakewood Ranch with her family and her rescued Shepard Chow mix, Messi!
