SARASOTA, Fla. – Mighty Banyans unable to capitalize in 1-0 defeat to No. 18 Keiser.
New College of Florida men's soccer suffered a crushing 1-0 defeat in their first Sun Conference match up of the season to No. 18 Keiser.
Both teams opened the evening showing intensity on offense. Both New College and Keiser combined for 4 shots in the match's opening few minutes.
Keiser broke the scoreless tie early, converting on an early chance to jump out to a quick 1-0 lead.
Following the early goal, both the Banyans and Seahawks hit an offensive dry spell, unable to create and convert offensive chances.
Keiser held their lead through the first half, creating an intense second-half atmosphere.
Keiser continued to thrive on offense, finding 4 more shots on goal in the second frame.

Hannes Ulbrich was also impressive defensively, forcing mismatches on the Seahawk attackers and even finding two-shot opportunities.
The Mighty Banyans will be back in action on Wednesday, September 18
th for their second conference matchup of the season against SCAD Savannah.
