BRUNSWICK, GA. – New College of Florida Men's Basketball captured their first Sun Conference victory of the season in an 87-79 win over Coastal Georgia.
The Banyans captured their 8
th victory of the season, a new single-season record, and their first Sun Conference victory in program history in a high-scoring battle with Coastal Georgia.
The Banyans offense, led by Senior guard
Charlie Yoder was unstoppable all night long. The team shot an unprecedented 55% from the field on the night, as well as knocking down a scorching hot 50% of their 22 three-point attempts.
Charlie Yoder continued his impressive season with another 30-point outing. Yoder also recorded another double-double, as he grabbed 10 rebounds and dished out 7 assists in an all-around performance.
The Banyans offense dominated all night, outscoring the Mariners in both the first and second half.
Senior guard
Jordan Clark was also fantastic, scoring 21 points and knocking down crucial free throws in the final moments of the second half to help clinch the victory for the Banyans.

Diego Eslava were key in the Banyans victory. The duo combined for 28 points, knocking down 7 of their 14 attempts from beyond the arc.
The Banyans will look to extend their winning streak on Saturday when they travel to Southeastern to face a tough Fire squad.
