SARASOTA, Fla. - NCF Men's Soccer snapped a two-game losing streak Saturday with a 2-1 victory over Southeastern at the NCF Bayfront.
The Mighty Banynas took a 1-0 lead into halftime as
Cameron Johnson scored his team-leading 12th goal of the season off an assist from
Martin Pascual at the 22:42 mark.
NCF would push its lead to 2-0 at the 64:10 mark as
Ducamel Jeannestin scored his 11th goal of the year to make it 2-0.
Adam Cooil would quickly pull the fire back within goal scoring at the 65:22 mark, but it would be too little too late as NCF held on to secure the victory.
In net,
Mathis Leveque made four saves to earn the win for the Mighty Banyans.
With the win, NCF is now 10-3-1 overall and 3-3 in Sun Conference play. The Mighty Banyans will play their final home match of the regular season  Wednesday when they welcome Florida Memorial to the Bayfront for Senior Day at 3 p.m. EST.Â
