NCF Women's Soccer Falls To No. 21 Southeastern Under The Lights In Lakeland

NCF Women's Soccer fell on the road Saturday night at No. 21 Southeastern 5-0 in a Sun Conference match.

The Fire wasted no time jumping in front as Olivia Hadad opened the scoring with a goal at the 3:34 mark.

By halftime, the Fire grew its lead to 3-0 as Ariadna Lozano scored at the 33:43 mark and less than a minute later, Madelyn Davidson scored Southeastern's third goal of the night.

The Fire would add more insurance in the second half as Sara Irurozki scored on a penalty kick at the 49:05 mark to make it 4-0, while at the  64:43 mark, Rebecca Laface scored the fifth Southeastern goal of the night.

Despite allowing four goals before being replaced by Maria Schatzl at the 61:36 mark, two-time defending Sun Conference Defensive Player of The Week Avaya Wright made seven saves for the Mighty Banyans.

With the loss, NCF is now 2-10-1 on the season overall and falls to 2-3-1 in Sun Conference play.

The Mighty Banynas will be back in action Wednesday when it travels to Miami Gardens for an important conference match at Florida Memorial.
