NCF Women's Basketball (2-1, 0-0) will open Sun Conference play Wednesday by welcoming Ave Maria (1-3, 0-1) to SCF-Bradenton for a 5 p.m. EST showdown.

The contest will be the first in a Women's/Men's doubleheader as the NCF men will tip off at 7 p.m. EST following the Women's game. Fans are encouraged to wear Hawaiian-themed outfits.

• The road win over Beacon saw all 12 Mighty Banyans who saw action score at least two points with Tatiana Jackson leading the way with 10. 
• Eihlan Fitch had a strong performance in the win at Beacon scoring two points, pulling down a team-high 12 rebounds, dishing six assists and picking up a pair of steals.
• Through three games, 6-foot-4 forward Julia Pacheco leads NCF in scoring at 12.0 points per game, Sania Thomas is averaging a team-leading 7.3 rebounds, and Camila Zbynski is averaging a team-high 4.7 assists.
• Ave Maria enters Wednesday's game 1-3 on the year with losses to RV William Carey, Faulkner, and Webber and a victory over Florida National. 6-foot-1 forward Ashley Chilson leads the team in scoring at 17.3 points per game and in rebounding at 10.0 rebounds per game.
