BRADENTON, Fla. - NCF Women's Basketball moved to 6-4 on the season with a 73-44 victory over Trinity College at home Wednesday.
The Mighty Banyans jumped out to a 20-11 lead after the first quarter and never looked back as it shot 9-for-22 (49.0%) from three on the night and out-rebounded the Tigers 45-33.
CiCi Moore led the Mighty Banyans with 14 points and added 10 rebounds to record a double-double.
Julia Pacheco also recorded a double-double as she scored 11 points, yanked down 12 rebounds, and also dished six assists, tying
Camila Zbynski for the team lead.
Halle Shelt scored nine points and added a team-high four blocks while
Gwen Tsoukalas picked up a team-high two steals.
NCF will play its final game before winter break Friday at Fort Lauderdale. Tip-off is scheduled for 4 p.m. EST.
