BRADENTON, Fla . - NCF Men's Basketball fell 92-73 at home to Spring Arbor Tuesday in its final game before winter break.
After going into halftime trailing 43-37, NCF opened the second half on a 13-6 run to take a 50-49 lead with 16:07 left to play, but from there it was all Cougars as Spring Arbor outscored the Mighty Banyans 43-23 the remainder of the game to earn a 19-point road win.
Diego Eslava led NCF with 18 points. He was joined in double figures by
Shawn Lefresne (15),
Colby Chapman (12) and
Ben Walker (10).
Lefresne dished a team-high six assists and finished tied with
Giovanni Toscanini with a team-high five rebounds.
NCF will return from winter break Jan. 3 at No. 15 Keiser in a 4 p.m. EST Sun Conference showdown.
