THOMASVILLE, GA. - NCF Women's Soccer fell in its second and final match at the Thomas University Tournament losing 5-0 to the University of Mobile Monday.
The Mighty Banyans fired off 10 shots, including four on goal, but could not put the ball past Mobile goaltender Sarah Polk, who made four saves to finish with a clean sheet.Â

Freshman goaltender
Avaya Wright got the start for NCF and made three first half saves, but also was scored on three times as Elke Fernandez opened the scoring with a goal at the 23:22 mark, followed by goals from Natalie Burt at the 28:53 mark and Andrei Kaithlyn Chav at the 36:45 mark.
Beatryz Bueno Duarte moved into the net for NCF in the second half and recorded a save, but allowed two late goals as Sadie Sparks scored at the 87:41 mark and Charlotte Malamaire scored at the 89:11 mark to finish off a five-goal day for the Rams.Â
NCF went 0-2 on the trip to Thomasville as it lost to host Thomas University 3-1 Saturday.
The Mighty Banyans will look to bounce back Friday when it welcomes Florida Memorial to the NCF Bayfront in its 4 p.m. EST home opener.Â
