SARASOTA, Fla. - NCF Men's Soccer improved to 6-0-1 on the season Wednesday with an 11-2 home win over non-conference foe South Florida Bible College.
The win was its second of the season, scoring in double figures, joining a Sept. 15 10-0 win at Albizu.
Ducamel Jeannestin scored his seventh and eighth goals of the season within the game's opening 15 minutes to put NCF up 2-0 early.
After the Rams pulled within one score with a goal at the 24:06 mark, the Mighty Banyans answered back with four goals of its own to take a 6-1 lead into halftime as
Martin Pascual scored his second goal of the season,
Cameron Johnson scored his fifth goal of the year while
Fabien Donal scored his fourth and sixth goals of the year with the second assisted by
Matthew Dynarski.
The Mighty Banyans would outscore the Rams 5-1 in the second half as Dynarski and
Peter Simmons each scored their first goals of the season,
Diego Fernandez scored his second goal of the year off an assist from
David Hospedales, while
Joao Duarte also scored his first goal of the year on an assist from Dynarski. NCF also scored via an own goal from the Rams.
NCF will be back in action Saturday at Warner to kick off Sun Conference Play with a 7 p.m. EST match in Lake Wales against a Warner team it defeated 3-0 in its Aug. 21 season opener at the NCF Bayfront.Â
