NCF sophomore Avery Shahriari has been named the Sun Conference Men's Golfer Of The Week.

Shahriari was the winner of NCF's first-ever home tournament as he shot five-under par to finish with a score of 67 in the rain-shortened, 18-hole Battle at Black Diamond at Black Diamond Ranch in Lecanto.

The performance saw Shahriari finish as the winner of a near 70-man tournament and help the Mighty Banyans place seventh as a team.

Shahriari and the Mighty Banyans will be back in action at the Jupiter Invite from Oct. 12-14.
