NCF Volleyball will look to continue its hot start to the 2025 season at the Mighty Banyan VolleyPalooza at SCF-Bradenton this weekend.
The seven-team tournament will see the Mighty Banyans play two matches Friday as it will host Ave Maria in its first Sun Conference match at 2 p.m. EST and take on Florida National at 7 p.m. Saturday, NCF will take the floor twice, battling Florida College at 10 a.m. and then facing Florida National in a rematch at 4 p.m.

- NCF won each of its first two matches of the season last week, defeating Loyola New Orleans 3-1 at SCF in its season opener and taking down Park Gilbert (AZ) 3-1 at Florida College.
- Senior Libero Maria Luiza Barreis won Sun Conference Defender of the Week honors for helping lead NCF to a 2-0 start to the season. She totaled a team-high 44 digs on the week, which included leading the Mighty Banyans with 30 digs in a 3-1 victory over Park Gilbert (AZ) Sunday. She posted a near-perfect reception percentage of 97.5% as she had 40 receptions on the week with just one error.
- Rafaela Domingos, a 2024 First-Team All Sun Conference selection, was named the Sun Conference Setter of the Week, giving NCF two of the three conference weekly honors. She logged a team-leading 81 assists for the Mighty Banyans, recording 38 in NCF's opening night win over Loyola New Orleans and 43 in Sunday's victory over Park Gilbert.
- Both Wiktoria Telecka and Jayleen Santiago have recorded 29 kills so far this season for NCF, leading the team. Telecka has recorded a team-leading 13 service aces.Â
- Junior Abigal Willis leads the Mighty Banyans with 6.0 blocks on the season.
- Ave Maria is 1-5 so far on the season, Florida National is 6-7 and Florida College is 5-8.
