NCF Women's Basketball fell to a strong RV Southeastern team in Lakeland Saturday 86-28 to fall to 7-7 overall on the season and 0-5 in Sun Conference play.
The Mighty Banyans weathered an early storm from the Fire as after Southeastern opened the game on a 9-2 run, NCF pulled back within four at 11-7 but from there it was all Southeastern.
NCF was led in scoring by guard
Halle Shelt, who scored nine points by shooting 3-for-6 from three-point land. She also picked up a team-leading three steals on the defensive end.

Camila Zbynski grabbed a team-high six rebounds while forward
Julia Pacheco blocked a team-leading four shots.
The Mighty Banyans will return home Wednesday to host Webber at 5 p.m. EST.
