NCF Women's Basketball suffered an 85-27 loss at the hands of the Keiser Seahawks Saturday in West Palm Beach in its first game back from winter break.
The Mighty Banyans trailed by just 10 points at 18-8 after one quarter of play, but the Seahawks outscored NCF 20-4 in the second quarter and 23-3 in the third to pull away.
CiCi Moore led NCF with 15 points and seven rebounds while also dishing two assists, blocking a team-high three shots and picking up two steals.
Halle Shelt dished a team-high three assists while
Eihlan Fitch and
Gwen Tsoukalas each picked up three steals to share the team lead.
The Mighty Banyans are now 7-5 overall on the season and 0-3 in Sun Conference play.
NCF will be back in action Wednesday at SCF-Bradenton when it welcomes Sun Conference foe Coastal Georgia for a 5 p.m. contest.
