MATCH NOTES

CELEBRATING SEVEN SENIORS

Wednesday's recognition brings together seven seniors whose contributions extend across both New College volleyball teams.

Telecka, Bozzato, Nacero, King and Garcia represent the varsity program, while Andrada and Raney serve as co-captains of the varsity reserve team.

The group has helped the program continue to grow during a season that included New College's first NAIA Top 25 ranking.

TELECKA LEADS THE ATTACK

Telecka has produced 375 kills, 60 service aces, 145 digs and 40 blocks this season. She leads the Mighty Banyans with 462.5 points and averages 4.21 kills and 5.20 points per set while hitting .263.

The senior captain has earned three Sun Conference Attacker of the Week awards this season and six during her NCF career.

Telecka delivered 24 kills in Monday's five-set victory over Florida College.

NACERO CONTRIBUTES IN EVERY PHASE

Nacero enters Senior Night with 243 kills, 265 digs, 62 service aces and 15 blocks. She averages 2.89 kills and 3.15 digs per set and leads the team in service aces.

Her versatility earned Sun Conference Defender of the Week recognition after an NCF career-high 36 digs in the five-set victory at Ave Maria. It was her first Defender of the Week award, adding to Attacker of the Week honors earned this season and last season.

Nacero collected 20 digs in Monday's win over Florida College.

BOZZATO PROVIDES SETTING SUPPORT

Bozzato has appeared in 17 matches and 50 sets this season, contributing 124 assists, 42 digs and five service aces.

She has provided another setting option for the Mighty Banyans, averaging 2.48 assists per set.

Bozzato has also added four kills and five blocks this season.

GARCIA MAKES HER PRESENCE FELT

Garcia has recorded 10 kills and nine blocks across nine matches and 18 sets this season, averaging 0.50 blocks per set.

Her six-block performance in the first meeting with Webber stands as the second-most in a single match in program history.

Garcia has also contributed four assists and four digs this season.

KING LEADS THROUGH HER COMEBACK

King has served as a player-coach throughout the season, providing leadership and support that have been vital to the Mighty Banyans' success.

After missing the entire 2025-26 season because of an injury, King continued contributing to the team while working toward her return.

She returned to competition Saturday in a varsity reserve match, adding another meaningful moment to her senior season before Wednesday's recognition.

ANDRADA AND RANEY LEAD VARSITY RESERVE

Andrada and Raney serve as co-captains of New College's varsity reserve team.

Their leadership has helped guide their teammates throughout the season and represents an important contribution to the volleyball program.

Wednesday's ceremony will recognize both alongside the five varsity seniors.

A LOOK BACK AT THE FIRST MEETING

After dropping the opening set, the Mighty Banyans responded with a 10-point victory in the second. Webber took the third set to move ahead 2-1 before NCF won the fourth and controlled the deciding frame, outscoring the Warriors 40-23 across the final two sets.

Telecka led New College with 21 kills and six service aces for 29.5 points. Nacero added a double-double with 14 kills and 13 digs.
