RV NCF Beach Volleyball (2-0, 2-0) will look to put together a second straight winning weekend when it matches up with RV Truett McConnell (6-5, 0-0) and Spartanburg Methodist (0-3, 0-1) in a pair of Sun Conference matches Friday in Babson Park.
The Mighty Banyans will face Truett McConnell at Noon EST and Spartanburg Methodist at 2 p.m. EST.

- In its season opener against STU, Cassidy Casey and Oliva Fenstemaker set the tone at the No. 1 position with a commanding 21-16, 21-16 win over Carolina Cruz and Gianni Ramirez. The No. 3 pair of Jayleen Santiago and Jayden Ponsford followed with a 21-18, 21-17 victory against Tayla Barnes and Madelynn Coates. NCF continued its momentum at No. 4, where Maria Luiza Barreis and Camilla Vaerini delivered a 21-16, 21-13 sweep of Margaret Sierra and Melanie Torres. At No. 5 Ashlyn Caddell and Alba Romanos Gracia earned a 21-16, 21-13 straight-set win over Alexa Moore and Theynara de Jesus
- The Banyans controlled every court, winning all five matches against the Lions in its second match. At No. 1, Casey and Fenstemaker earned a decisive 21-6, 21-9 victory over L'fe Roberts and Drew Lester. The No. 2 duo of Morgan McGuire and Kayla Gentry followed with a 21-10, 21-13 win against Julia Carneiro and Juliana Medina. Santiago and Ponsford remained perfect on the day at No. 3, defeating Serena Edwards and Isabella Cardona 21-17, 21-11. Luiza Barreis and Vaerini added another point at No. 4 with a 21-13, 21-7 sweep of Leila Betancourt and Joemyrah Clendinen. Romanos Gracia and Sibelle Dias capped the sweep at No. 5 with a 21-13, 21-10 win over Aviyah Henderson and Carolina Alonso.
- The lone loss of the day suffered by NCF was in its No. 2 match against St. Thomas as in a tightly contested three-set battle, McGuire and Gentry fell 21-19, 16-21, 15-12 to Marii Ramos and Maite Solabarrietas.
