Cassidy Casey and Olivia Fenstermaker have been named the Sun Conference Beach Volleyball Pair of the Year following a dominant 2026 season for the Mighty Banyans.
The duo posted an 11-1 overall record and went a perfect 10-0 in Sun Conference play, not dropping a single set in conference competition. Their only loss of the season came against NCAA Division I power Nebraska.
Casey, a senior from Houston, Texas, adds the honor after earning second-team All-Sun Conference recognition in 2025. Fenstermaker, a freshman from Columbus, Ohio, made an immediate impact in her first collegiate season as part of the conference's top pair.
The pair played a key role in leading New College to a 10-2 overall record, a 10-0 mark in Sun Conference play, and the program's first Sun Conference Regular Season Championship. The Mighty Banyans enter the Sun Conference Tournament as the No. 1 seed and have secured a bid to the NAIA Women's Beach Volleyball National Invitational later this month, marking the first national postseason appearance in NCF Athletics history.
